A Lovers Prayer

As the night sang it's lullaby..the sleepless lover lies awake
Wondering what life means..and how much more he can take
Making sense of his love's words..each word and piece he picked
In the quiet of his heart..he drowned the clock that ticked

Love has no beginning and has no end..to himself he spoke
And then came her eyes like the quiet mist..and he went for broke
As he tossed and turned..all he ever knew is he loved her oh so dearly
But yet those eyes ..those beautiful eyes..saw  through him very clearly

For you can fool a troubled mind..with questions that don't matter
Or you can choose to tell yourself..it will all get better
But who can speak to the beating heart..for it knows only one voice
And loves but once..and often makes one first and final choice

As the lover prays..to the listening night..he says only sincerely
I love her with one heart..that never reasoned..and one mind that never listened...

Romance of Romatics

O wake !! silent night
See the maiden with the  clouds does pace
Look she moves with hastened grace
Hiding  from her lovers sight

The wind and sea they  pace about
like jealous lovers filled with rage
they follow every step takes..

As the wind through the whistling trees
Sings to the maiden  his song of love
With the hope that she may see
His love is true and can set her free

The rolling sea cries out in wavered voice
Make me !Make me! your  only choice
For i will watch over you until the horizons
With passion abysmally deep...

the maiden though restless every night
has the hope of a brighter day!
But the sea and wind have only only one love
Only one  love to keep them alive!!

The Darkest Night

Is the mangled heart alive
How did it survive those lashes deep?
As it bled right through the night
As the moon watched it weep

Each tear to the ground did fall ..
Water and blood alike
As the levee broke and the past ghosts ran
in the cold dark night

Lay the body, still  emotion bereft
But turned the world around it
As burned the soul that  dark night
 With nothingness to surround it
