Logically Reasoned Love

Why is Love so strong ..and expression weak
it hurts both the strong hearted and the meek
there is no path trodden and no path worn
the child called wisdom from past is born

for words don't quite seem so fit
to describe the intricacies of love that is tightly knit
Oh why does this mind seem so troubled
By a single word has it's anxiety doubled

Love is selfless ...love is blind
If felt by the heart and not thought by the mind
For the heart can show what no dictionary can define
 For it knows true love is divine...

For the mind sees only loss or gain

But the heart cries out when it feels  pain....
